Sarah Hade is a Virginia-based Irish composer specializing in writing captivating cinematic music. Her music has been described as ‘atmospheric’, 'dreamy', 'full of emotion’ with a ‘truly unique sensitivity’. Her work is characterized by a deep focus on character, story, and emotion, creating evocative music that resonates on both an intellectual and emotional level.
Sarah’s music has made notable waves in the industry having had her music and arrangements performed by the National Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the National Concert Hall.She has composed music for various projects ranging from film trailers, short films, documentaries, brand logos, and concerts. Among her latest projects include original music for short film Glimpse (2025) directed by Rob Sterrenburg; A Better Way documentary (2024); a production music album “Subtle Secrecies" (2024), with Amadea Music Productions, and assisting composer Anna Rice for Ruán Magan’s ‘Our Blue World - A Water Odyssey’ narrated by Liam Neeson. In 2023, Sarah co-arranged and co-orchestrated the 'Nintendo Suite' with Eímear Noone comprised of a selection of renowned video game music themes. This had its first world premiere at the BBC NOW Gaming Concert 2023 performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Since then, it has been featured in several concerts including ’Video Games Music in Concert’ at Usher Hall, Scotland in May 2023/2024, and at Telekom Forum Bonn, Germany in March 2024. Moreover, while working as an assistant for renowned film and video game composers Eímear Noone and Craig Stuart Garfinkle, Sarah assisted on a range of versatile projects. These include the highly acclaimed animated feature film 'The Canterville Ghost' (2023), Stewart Copeland’s ‘Police Deranged for Orchestra’ album (2023), the highly successful Netflix series 'Maxine' (2022), and the 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' series (2021-2022). Regarding other projects and achievements, Sarah achieved 3rd place in the Airwiggles 2024 music contest. Following this, in 2025 she presented a webinar on ‘Working as a Composer’s Assistant’ for the Airwiggles Conference 2025. Furthermore, Sarah was also selected for a scholarship as a composer to participate in the Fames Institute seminar workshop in March 2024. Currently, Sarah is working on a production music album with Amadea Music Productions which will be released in early 2026.
